Join us for an author visit and book signing with Stuart Welsh! He will be discussing his newest book, Hornyheads, Madtoms, and Darters: Narratives on Central Appalachian Fishes.
This discussion and book is perfect for naturalists, fishermen, those with an interest in ecological systems of fish and waterways, or those with an interest in the outdoors in general!
Stuart Welsh is a fisheries research scientist at West Virginia University with a passion for all-things fish. His book, Hornyheads, Madtoms, and Darters: Narratives on Central Appalachian Fishes, which features 103 photos and illustrations, combines personal observation, science, and excerpts from existing literature to tell a full story about various regional fishes. The book’s territory includes southern PA, eastern Ohio, all of WV, western Virginia, eastern KY, western MD, and parts of southern NY.
Stuart's book is published by Ohio University Press.
