PCDL is excited to announce that Crafters’ Club, a special monthly tween & teen program, will kick-off on October 21st with our Cupcake Wars program.
- Tweens & Teens, ages 9 to 17 years old, are welcome to participate in this year’s Cupcake Wars. We will gather in the New Lexington Meeting Room at 5 pm with the program lasting until 6:30 pm.
- Teams of 2 (one tween or teen and one adult) will compete in this cupcake decorating competition.
- Each tween & teen is encouraged to invite their favorite adult to join their team. PCDL will have adult volunteers available upon request to make sure each team is full. Email cargo@pcdl.org to request an adult volunteer.
- Each member of the team will randomly draw a theme upon arrival to the meeting room. Both themes must be incorporated into the final cupcake design.
- All materials will be provided. Food allergies & dietary restrictions can be emailed to cargo@pcdl.org, so safe alternatives can be provided.
- A winner will be selected in each of the following age categories:
- Tween: ages 9-12
- Teen: ages 13-17
- Each winner will receive a cupcake themed prize and certificate.
Questions can be emailed to cargo@pcdl.org.
We can’t wait to see what this year’s participants design & create!
