Join us throughout the month of October for our special, grant funded Homeschool Program: Thinking Money for Kids series. Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.  This series is open to all area homeschoolers from preschool through 12th grade.

Each week, Homeschoolers will learn about a new financial topic through hands-on games, activities, and crafts. 

  • October 2nd at 1 pm: Currency Conga will focus on currency recognition (younger learners) and money math (older learners) 
  • October 9th at 1 pm: Piggy Bank Theater will focus on the balance between earning, spending, & saving 
  • October 16th at 1 pm: Making Mooo-lah will focus on all things entrepreneurship such as needs vs wants, income vs expenses, & profits vs loss. 
  • October 23rd at 1 pm: Penny Pinchers’ Party will focus on budgeting, basic business relationships, and the difference between value & cost 
  • October 30th at 1 pm: Pet Cents will focus on financially responsible budgeting, essential expenses, & coping with unexpected financial needs

Homeschoolers can attend all 5 sessions or choose the topic(s) that most interest them.
