Calling all soup lovers! January is National Soup Month, so we'll be highlighting a different soup each week and providing recipes and the necessary spices. Kits will be made available for pickup starting each Monday, with the exception of the holiday closure — kit pickup will start on Tuesday that week. 

Each week will feature a different soup recipe from one of four states: Idaho, Tennessee, Arizona, and New York. The kit will include all necessary spices to complete the recipe, a list of further ingredients, directions, related cookbooks that can be checked out at the library, and educational information about the food and state.

Any remaining kits from previous weeks will be available until they’re gone.

Kits will be at all PCDL locations and will be made available on a first come, first served basis.

Week 1 (January 5): New York - Meatball Minestrone
Week 2 (January 12): Arizona - Three Sisters Soup
Week 3 (January 20): Tennessee - French Onion Soup
Week 4 (January 26): Idaho - Potato Bacon Soup
