Event Details
Join us for our March Tween Book Club on March 10th from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Teen Room at our New Lexington location! Our Tween Book Club is a fun, interactive program using BINGO-style games and other hands-on activities to bring the book to life.
Tweens will read and discuss "Bea Wolf", a graphic novel (GN) written by Zach Weinersmith. This GN is a humorous retelling of the epic poem Beowulf for a modern, young audience. It follows a group of kids defending their treehouse, "Treeheart," from a grumpy neighbor, Mr. Grindle, who turns them into boring adults with the legendary Bea Wolf coming to their rescue.
Physical copies of the book have already been ordered and will be available soon. Miss Cass will reach out to each family as they register to ensure the books are available at their preferred branch in a timely manner.
